Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Jillian and I am a LMHC in the state of New York. Welcome to my practice! I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, grief, trauma, and life transitions; using a blend of psychotherapy with mindfulness and somatic healing techniques.

My approach to therapy

My holistic approach to therapy includes an emphasis on the mind-body connection to mental health. I believe that our symptoms are not "by accident" and are shaped by our experiences. We can work together to explore the root causes, eventually releasing what is no longer serving you and develop healthier beliefs and a sense of freedom.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm and empathetic space where trust and safety are developed. I help to guide my clients in developing insight to the root of their symptoms to fully understand the bigger picture, challenge maladaptive thinking patterns, and instill new, healthy beliefs and coping skills.
