Great to meet you!

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College and my Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Iona College. I have worked in some of the most challenging settings such as Bellevue hospital and the juvenile justices system. For the past 6 years I have worked primarily in private practice where I assist my clients in achieving overall emotional wellness. You deserve all the good that life has to offer and you don't have to achieve it alone!

My approach to therapy

I utilize a Strengths based approach with primarily Cognitive Behavioral techniques. I assist my clients in identifying dysfunctional thought patterns that are causing distress and employ thought and behavior modification interventions to decrease distressful symptoms.

What you can expect from me

I emphasize personal responsibility and believe in empowering clients through education. My main goal for all clients is to empower the client with sufficient knowledge and skills to manage their distress so that the client no longer needs therapy.
