Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

I’m a licensed mental health professional with a background in supporting individuals navigating complex trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and stress related to work, relationships, or family. I take a collaborative and affirming approach to therapy—grounded in curiosity, warmth, and deep respect for your lived experience.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, and have extensive experience working in both nonprofit and public health settings. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and draws from evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and narrative therapy, along with mindfulness and somatic-based approaches.

I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with chronic stress or anxiety, and those healing from violence or other forms of interpersonal trauma. I’m especially passionate about helping people unlearn patterns of self-criticism, navigate burnout, and reconnect with a sense of agency and self-worth.

Whether you’re looking to build healthier boundaries, process a painful experience, or simply explore what healing looks like for you, I’m here to support you in that journey.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe that healing happens in relationship, and I work to create a space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore whatever brings you to therapy.

I draw from trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based frameworks, which means I honor your lived experience and identity while helping you navigate challenges with care and curiosity. My style is warm, direct, and flexible—I adapt our work to meet your unique needs, pace, and goals.

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, listen inward, and practice being kinder to yourself—while building the tools you need to move forward.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, greater clarity about what they’re feeling and why, and practical tools they can use in daily life. I work with clients to identify meaningful goals—whether that’s reducing anxiety, healing from trauma, setting boundaries, improving relationships, or navigating a life transition—and we move at a pace that feels right for you.

I aim to create an environment that feels safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental—a space where all parts of you are welcome. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can explore hard things with honesty and care, practice self-compassion, and experiment with new ways of being.

In our work together, you can expect to:

  • Develop tools to regulate emotions and manage stress
  • Gain insight into patterns or beliefs that may no longer serve you
  • Build confidence in your voice, choices, and values
  • Learn to relate to yourself with more kindness and acceptance
  • Feel more grounded, empowered, and connected—inwardly and outwardly

Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about supporting your growth, honoring your resilience, and helping you feel more at home in your life and in your body.
