At Yourself First, LLC, my approach to therapy is structured, evidence-based, and clinically grounded. I provide a therapeutic space that is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping clients develop insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and create measurable change in their daily lives.
- I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients examine the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build skills in distress tolerance, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness; and EMDR therapy to support the reprocessing of traumatic memories, distressing life experiences, and negative core beliefs. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, which means I prioritize safety, stabilization, trust, collaboration, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.
My clinical style is direct, engaged, and goal-oriented. I help clients better understand how past experiences, nervous system responses, relational patterns, and belief systems may be influencing their current functioning. Together, we work toward reducing symptoms, improving coping skills, strengthening self-awareness, and supporting long-term emotional and behavioral change.
