*NOTE: If I have to leave a voicemail, I will NOT identify as a mental health practitioner, until contact has been made, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.

My approach to therapy

Jillian combines several different therapeutic styles, to cater and customize the therapeutic needs of the individual clients. Jillian follows a direct (and sometimes humorous) approach, while utilizing metaphors and imagery to make correlations with the client's emotions and day to day situations. This helps to normalize difficult feelings, which typically results in the ability to delve deeper and become more self-aware.

What you can expect from me

Jillian believes in collaborating with clients to customize their individual treatment plans, catering to their specific needs and goals. She does not provide the answers but will encourage the client to explore their feelings and will accompany them on their journey to attain their goals. Jillian assists clients to become motivated to develop coping skills and become more self-aware.
