Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds and showing compassion, acceptance and understanding are only a few of my qualities. I am easy to talk with and aim to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for you. I’m fluent in the phrase “tell me the raw and real!” As a mother of all boys (4), trust me, I’ve heard it all and nothing shocks me!

My approach to therapy

My counseling approach ranges from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, and Client-Centered. I am also trained in EMDR, an approach to treating trauma, however, I focus on the client and tailor what is necessary to help you accomplish your goals in therapy.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to develop a comfortable structure to enjoy your goals are met. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure.
