Great to meet you!

I have an MA in Psychology and an MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a BA in Psychology.

I am trained in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and informed in and experienced with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness practices. I completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

I treat adults, couples, anxiety, depression, trauma, recovery, and LGBTQ.

My approach to therapy

I help clients find a deeper understanding of themselves, cultivate personal growth, and improve their relationships. In a collaborative relationship with the client, I explore family dynamics, relationship patterns, and underlying feelings and unconscious drives that impede a sense of well being. I help clients challenge negative thought patterns and develop greater self-awareness. I provide a safe space for clients to explore their obstacles and discover healthy coping strategies.

What you can expect from me

Clients will gain more insight into their thought and behavioral patterns, and skills to manage their symptoms. Clients will have a deeper understanding about their relationship with themselves, others, and the world. My therapy sessions will provide an empathetic space for clients to be heard and understood, experience internal growth, untangle and process their feelings, explore their past and present experiences, and discover their hopes for the future.
