Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed therapist with over fifteen years of experience in behavioral health and psychiatric care, in different continents, offering personalized individual therapy for adults facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood instability, anger management issues, and life transitions. I have worked across acute psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment programs, and community-based settings, supporting clients with complex emotional and mental health needs.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based treatments such as EMDR, CBT, and DBT, helping clients develop emotional regulation skills, process trauma, reduce distress, and build healthier coping strategies. I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and practical—focused on helping clients gain insight, resilience, and lasting change.

I am especially passionate about working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally reactive, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to individual therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger management challenges, emotional dysregulation, and stress related to life transitions. Therapy is a space where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns without judgment.

I use evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR to help clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, process trauma, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening resilience, and creating meaningful, sustainable change.

My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and equipped with tools they can use both inside and outside the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a safe, supportive space to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and your goals for treatment. You can share at your own pace—there is no pressure to have everything figured out.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your emotional experiences, mental health history, and what you’d like to change or improve. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and challenges, and outline a personalized plan tailored to your needs. You can also expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach where your voice and comfort are always prioritized.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
