My name is Dr. Jim Fox (please call me Jim), and I’m so glad you're looking for support. Reaching out for support is the first step in making your life a little easier. I am a:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (Colorado) and a
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Indiana).
I have over 30 years of licensed therapy experience working with a diverse range of clients. I am dedicated to tailoring our sessions to meet your unique needs and goals.
My education includes
- master’s degree in counseling from Denver Seminary
- doctorate in educational psychology, research, and evaluation from the University of Northern Colorado.
I am a Master Addiction Counselor and have experience with most problems, including
- couples problems,
- depression,
- anxiety,
- adjustment disorders,
- ADHD, and
- PTSD.
I am an EMDR practitioner and am versed in helping those with childhood trauma, adultery, and porn addiction problems.
I work with both individuals and couples.

- I am a graduate of Denver Seminary
- I am should graduate in September or October 2026 with a second doctorate (D.Min) in Christ-Centered Counseling at Trinity Theological Seminary.
- I served as a pastor.
- I was married to a pastor for 33 years until she passed away last year.
