Great to meet you!

If anxiety is running the show, grief hasn't had space to breathe, or a big life change has left you wondering who you are now -- you're not alone, and you don't have to keep carrying it by yourself.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma -- including people in the middle of major life transitions, members of the LGBTQIA+ community and people of color, college students, and anyone who has felt pushed to the margins or misunderstood.

I have a particular passion for working with performing artists navigating the pressures, uncertainty, and identity questions that come with a life in the arts. Before I became a therapist, I spent nearly three decades making my living as a professional actor. That background shapes everything about how I listen.

My approach to therapy

My prior acting career taught me to listen closely, catch what goes unsaid, and recognize the patterns and roles that shape how we move through the world. I bring that same attentiveness to therapy.

Our work will be collaborative and exploratory. I draw on psychodynamic thinking, IFS, narrative therapy, and attachment theory -- but I recognize every client works differently. We'll find together what fits you best.

What you can expect from me

We'll start by getting to know each other. You'll have space to share what's bringing you in and what you've been carrying -- at whatever pace feels right. There's no pressure to have it all figured out.

By the end of our first conversation, we'll have a clearer sense of what you're looking for and how we might work together. You don't need the perfect words -- just a willingness to begin.
