Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor in New York State with over 5 years of experience, I believe that healing happens through connection, not isolation. Reaching out for support takes real courage, so if you’re reading this, well done!

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma — including performing artists, college students, and people moving through life transitions that feel bigger than expected. I’m also committed to creating a space where LGBTQIA+ clients, people of color, and anyone who has been misunderstood or pushed to the margins can feel genuinely seen.

My approach to therapy

Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a professional actor for nearly 3 decades. That experience taught me to listen closely, notice what’s unsaid, and understand how transformative it can be to find the truth in whatever role we’re playing. I now have the privilege of using those skills to help people more authentically connect to who they are.

There’s no single path toward that kind of connection - we’ll work together to discover what approach feels right for you. I’ll support you as you move toward clarity, steadiness, and a deeper sense of self.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you’ll have space to share what brings you in and what you’ve been carrying. I’ll be introduced to some of your life experiences and the narrative you’ve created around them — the meanings, patterns, and roles that shape how you move through the world. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once; we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and grounded.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer sense of what you’re looking for and how we might work together to achieve it. You don’t need the perfect words — just a willingness to begin.
