Great to meet you!

I work with individuals and couples from diverse life paths who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, and more. I help them tap into their unique strengths and resources to reconnect, heal, and transform their experience of themselves and their dynamic with others.

My background is in systemic approaches to psychotherapy. I hold a Master's and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and have been trained in Ericksonian approaches to hypnosis.

In addition to my academic background, I have learned mind-body practices, such as meditation and yoga, which have been instrumental in my own healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a co-creative process, a relational dance that is both aesthetic and pragmatic. In the consultation, I aim to cultivate an atmosphere of empathy, vulnerability, curiosity, acceptance, and validation, while remaining attuned to the need for therapeutic responsiveness. My focus is on helping to generate experiential possibilities for clients within their worldview.

What you can expect from me

Each consultation is tailored to the person's specific needs.

I devote some time to learning about your relationship to the problem and difficulties that bring you to therapy, while also listening for your strengths, resources, and what matters to you.

In our session, I may extend invitations for experiential learning (e.g., bringing awareness to the mind-body connection, shifting language, viewing the situation from different angles ) and invitations to carry out experiments or observational tasks between consultations.

When I work with couples, I focus on understanding the dreams, hopes, and longings of each partner, while maintaining awareness of what brings them together.
