Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Vesper, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. I received a Master degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient clinics, and community and human services agencies. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy

I strive to collaboratively create a calm, relaxed, trauma-informed, and client-centered safe space through a systematic lens. As an immigrant and an Asian-identified therapist, I am particularly sensitive to diversity in culture and self-identity, including with respect to race, gender, and sexuality. I believe in the importance of affirming the unique individual experience with cultural humility.

What you can expect from me

Clients usually find themselves connecting more easily and opening up more when we are a good match for each other. They feel better just being with someone who can listen and explore the past safely with them. During our time together, we will work as allies to take sustainable, lasting, and meaningful steps toward a more fulfilling life.
