Great to meet you!

I am dedicated to my work with adolescents, adults, & families. My gift is in seeing the big picture. Having obtained my Clinical License (LCSW) & now in private practice, I am accepting clients ages 12 and above. My experience has primarily focused on supporting those with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief.

I am passionate about helping individuals on journeys of self-discovery who seek a better quality of life. Working with couples and families is a strength of mine, as I support clients in uncovering their strengths to thrive within relationships. Family Therapy provides a safe, supportive space for people to share their stories and feel truly heard.

With 20+ years of experience in Social Work, including time in London, I bring a global view to my practice. A New Jersey native, I studied acting at NYU and later earned my Juris Doctor. Returning to my true passion, I completed my MSW at California State university at Long Beach, which was life-changing. My 19 years as a pediatric trauma social worker taught me the value of calm in crisis.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, intuitive and grounded in a deep respect for each person's story. I work collaboratively, creating a safe space where you feel safe, understood and supported as you explore whatever brings you in. With a foundation in trauma-informed care, I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems work, and mindfulness-based approaches - blending evidence based strategies with attentive, genuine presence. My 20+ years in social work, including nearly two decades in pediatric trauma, have shaped my ability to stay calm in crisis, hold space for complex emotions, and truly meet people where they are. Working with individuals, families, and diverse communities has given me a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for the many ways people cope, adapt and find resilience. These experiences inform a style that is warm but direct, supportive yet practical. Together, we look at the patterns shaping your life, reconnect with your strengths, and build tools that help you feel more grounded and empowered in your day-to-day world. Ultimately, by goal is to help you grow in self-understanding, reduce the weight of what you've been carrying and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, positive, and possible.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is helping you feel comfortable and understood. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you have been carrying and what you hope to change or explore. I will ask thoughtful questions to get a sense of your history, your strengths, and what support feels most helpful to you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and confident that you have a partner in this process. Together we will plant the seeds of hope.
