Great to meet you!

Welcome to Leeway Counseling Collective! Are you searching for an Asian American therapist who truly understands your experiences? Therapy isn’t about “fixing yourself”—it’s about accepting and reclaiming your story on your own terms. Leeway means flexibility and resilience—the ability to adjust your course in life while staying true to yourself. Whether you’re a young professional navigating high expectations, a first responder carrying heavy experiences, or someone feeling stuck between cultures, I provide compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care tailored to your journey.

My approach to therapy

Using evidence-based approaches like DBT, CBT, CPT, ERP, and EMDR, I help clients build coping skills, process emotions, and develop self-acceptance. I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with stress, trauma, body image concerns, self-esteem, and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you: your story, strengths, and the challenges that brought you to counseling. We’ll talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and set goals together at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also address any questions you may have about the counseling process and what our work together might entail. The first session is less about “fixing everything right away” and more about creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood.
