Great to meet you!

My eclectic approach to therapy is an outcome of over 45 years of training experiences and continuing education. I’ve integrated a variety of clinical models into my work with a varied practice clientele. Individuals working with me over the years have come with an extensive range of presenting problems. Some come for long-term psychodynamic work, others for short-term, solution-oriented therapies. Still others have been suited for family systems work or cognitive-behavioral therapy.

My approach to therapy

i believe in promoting and supporting self-empowerment in my clients. Learning relevant history, current situation and client perspective is a vital early task. Generating options for new perspectives and possible actions is a big part of my role. Encouraging decision-making is often a task.Personal growth, adjustment to crises and passages, relationship restructuring along with weight issues, physical and sexual health issues, and aging are safely addressed.

What you can expect from me

Designing a personalized approach to therapy is always my goal. I wish to always be a part of a positive change design for my client that is realistic and achievable. Choosing to make life changes or else choosing acceptance of one’s situation along with a change in point of view is common to the work I do with my clients, which is notably collaborative with caring participation on my part.
