Great to meet you!

“I hold a Masters degree in Social Work in and have experience working with individuals across a range of settings. My work has focused on supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, Bipolar Disorder and family and job stressors to name a few. I draw from approaches such as CBT and DBT, and I aim to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. I work with adults and seniors, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported while also being encouraged to grow. I value open communication and believe therapy works best as a collaborative process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is pretty collaborative—I see therapy as a team effort. I want you to feel heard and understood, but I’ll also gently challenge you when it’s helpful. I tend to use a mix of skill-based strategies, like CBT or DBT, along with exploring patterns and experiences that might be impacting you. My goal is to help you not just talk through things, but leave with tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life. At the same time, I tailor our work to your specific goals and pace, because therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all

What you can expect from me

It’s really common to feel nervous about the first session. We’ll take it one step at a time and I’ll guide you through the process, ask some questions to understand what’s bringing you in, and we’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no expectation to share everything right away.
