Great to meet you!

I've been a teacher, adult literacy director, a case manager and now a therapist. I have two Masters one in Education and the other in Social Work. When I learned cognitive behavioral therapy, CBT, I knew that would be my specialty. I include practice work for clients to learn and use the CBT skills consistently.

My approach to therapy

I prefer a relaxed and open style of therapy. I have always attracted people who share personal situations shortly after meeting me because of the energy I carry. I've worked hard over my life, starting with therapy when I was 15 y/o and explored other modalities to teach me about myself. I lived in Kenya for three years teaching and training. Subsequently, all my jobs have been in service to those needing guidance, advice, support and loving connection.

What you can expect from me

I want my clients to leave feeling heard and understood; that they weren't judged about anything shared in session. This often helps people relax and trust more because they no longer feel "it's just me."
