Great to meet you!

I’m a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s transitions and difficulties.

My experience includes helping individuals navigate concerns such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also have extensive experience working with people with brain injuries, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence, with an emphasis on understanding each person’s unique strengths, needs, and experiences.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, working with each person to understand their unique needs, strengths, and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when we work together to find approaches that feel meaningful and practical for you.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques. I am also trained in EMDR and incorporate it into my work when appropriate. My goal is to tailor therapy to each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, creating a supportive space where you can develop greater insight, build effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. While we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to accomplish, I also want to get to know you as a person—your interests, hobbies, relationships, experiences, and the things that are important to you.

We’ll discuss your goals and begin to identify ways we can work together to support you. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can feel at ease being yourself and begin therapy at a pace that feels right for you.
