Great to meet you!

I’m JoAnn, and here’s what I want you to know: I believe reaching out for help takes courage. I’ve spent over 20 years working with people through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, trauma, and life transitions. My heart is with those who want a therapy process that’s meaningful and manageable — not drawn out forever.

My approach to therapy

I see us as collaborators. I’ll listen to where you’re at, and together we’ll find realistic, actionable steps forward — ones that feel doable in your everyday life. We’ll check in regularly to see what’s working (or not), and adjust as we go. I’m curious, direct, and supportive — always aiming to guide toward clarity, hope, and real change.

What you can expect from me

From our first session, you’ll leave with something concrete — an idea, a small shift, a practice to try between our meetings. Whether it’s emotion-focused “homework” or a new skill to practice — you'll walk away with something to work on. Over time, clients tell me they feel more grounded, more confident navigating challenges, and clearer about who they want to be in relationships, work, and life.

Clients describe me as empowering, warm, and practical — someone who encourages growth but also meets you where you are.

Ideal clients:

  • People dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, or life stressors
  • Anyone wanting a therapy process that’s efficient, truthful, and focused
  • Adults (and sometimes teens or couples) ready to try small, meaningful shifts in their lives

If you’re looking for someone to help you move forward — not just talk — I’d be honored to work with you.
