Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Joann Ezeibe, a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC) who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, psychotic disorders, and major life transitions. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and understood, and where we can talk openly about what you’re going through without shame or stigma.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I offer both medication management and individual therapy, and when appropriate, child and adolescent therapy as well. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as humanistic, client-centered, and feminist therapies. That means we’ll look at your thoughts, behaviors, and environment, but also your strengths, values, and lived experience, and we’ll use those to guide treatment.

What you can expect from me

I see treatment as a collaborative process: you’re the expert on your life, and my role is to bring clinical expertise, education, and support so we can build a plan that feels realistic and sustainable for you. Whether you’re looking for help managing intense anxiety or panic, stabilizing mood, improving focus, or making sense of big changes in your life, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe while keeping your long-term goals in view.
