Great to meet you!

Every person & family is unique & is always doing the best they can with the tools they have. I have been a therapist and teacher for 25 years. Therapy should be an individualized experience that can be interesting & at times fun especially for youth. I use humor & encourage my clients to make decisions & take ownership as a part of their therapeutic process. As we process challenges & practice skills, clients increase their ability to cope with stress at home, school & work.

My approach to therapy

I utilize strengths-based, cognitive behavioral & solution focused therapies. I incorporate movement, art & hands-on activities (if the client is open to these activities) while talking through stress & problem solving. I teach relaxation, communication & conflict resolution tools. I also help families understand developmental tasks & ways to increase positive communication & self-esteem.

What you can expect from me

I offer a confidential, safe & supportive space to share your story, and explore your strengths and abilities. My clients are accepted & nurtured for who they are. All will learn tools to manage stress & transitions in a client-centered way to enhance peace & joy.
