Great to meet you!

I provide therapy to women navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum OCD and intrusive thoughts, relationship stress and conflict, and the emotional demands of working motherhood—especially high-achieving and attorney women who are used to holding everything together.

Many of my clients feel anxious, stuck in overthinking or self-doubt, or exhausted from constantly managing the needs of those around them while losing connection to their own.

Before becoming a therapist, I practiced law for over a decade, which gives me a deep understanding of high-achieving women navigating constant internal pressure while still expected to perform at a high level, manage demanding careers, and care for their families.

My approach to therapy

I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from both the St. Louis and Chicago Psychoanalytic Institutes.

I work from a relational psychodynamic psychotherapy perspective, meaning therapy focuses on both your current emotional experiences and the deeper patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Together, we slow down and explore the underlying feelings, beliefs, and relational dynamics that may be contributing to your anxiety, overwhelm, grief, and sense of feeling stuck.

My style is collaborative and reflective, offering space for insight to emerge rather than providing quick fixes or directive advice.

I also integrate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy for women experiencing perinatal OCD.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, collaborative space. There is no need to have everything figured out or to provide a perfect explanation of your experience. We’ll begin by talking through what brings you to therapy right now, what feels most overwhelming, and what you hope will feel different.

My goal is to help you feel understood, not judged, and to start making sense of the patterns, emotions, and pressures you’ve been carrying—especially those that may feel hard to put into words at first.

We’ll also begin identifying initial goals for therapy together, whether that’s reducing anxiety, understanding relational patterns, or perhaps feeling more grounded and connected to yourself again as you navigate uncertainty. You do not need to prepare anything in advance. Rather, the first session is about beginning at a pace that feels manageable for you.
