Great to meet you!

Life can be difficult. We all need a little help sometimes navigating the peaks and valleys that come our way. My experience includes 19 years of working in both public and private therapeutic schools with children, adolescents and young adults. I enjoy helping those struggling with a variety of life challenges, particularly, with anxiety, depression, stress management, perfectionism and minimizing the occurrences of self-harm by providing clients with healthy replacement strategies.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, empathetic, and no nonsense. I will listen without judgement, and help you find the best solution. Sometimes that means accepting the circumstances and learning to live with them. Other times, it means looking at all options and choosing the best one. I will guide you through life challenges and support you along the way.

What you can expect from me

Together, we will set goals towards change, if change is what you seek. You and your needs will drive the type of therapeutic approach I use. This may include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, aspects of talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness, among others.
