Great to meet you!

Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.

For 24 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people like you navigating the winding road to adulthood. I know how therapy can transform a clouded sense of self into a strong foundation of self-worth and connection. Because I’ve seen this growth in my clients—and experienced it in my own journey—I have immense respect for the courage you’re showing by being here.

As a dual-licensed clinician (LMFT/LPCC) and school counselor, I’ve worked in schools, clinics, and hospitals. This gives me a deep understanding of the unique, modern pressures you are facing—from the heavy weight of social expectations to the internal journey of figuring out who you really are.

I’m here to offer you a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space. I believe your real healing happens when you feel comfortable enough to be your authentic self. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, your identity, or the messiness of relationships, I will help you harness your natural resilience.

Together, we’ll work to understand your emotions and uncover the inner wisdom you already possess. My goal is to help you navigate these challenges with confidence, so you can live a life that feels genuinely yours.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself—where your thoughts, emotions, and questions are welcomed with care rather than judgment. My goal is to create an environment that feels grounded, respectful, and rooted in genuine connection.

How We’ll Work Together

Therapy is a partnership. Instead of trying to "fix" or push feelings away, we will work together to understand them. I listen closely to the patterns and strengths in your story, helping you respond to life’s challenges in ways that feel empowering rather than overwhelming.

Our sessions are a blend of deep understanding and active growth. I tailor evidence-based tools to fit your specific world, drawing from:

  • CBT & DBT: To help you navigate thoughts and regulate intense emotions.
  • Mindfulness: To stay grounded in the present moment.
  • Problem-Solving: To build practical skills for communication, resilience, and clarity.

Turning Insight into Action

We won't just talk about change; we’ll build the tools to make it happen. By uncovering your natural wisdom and developing healthy coping strategies, we will work toward a daily life that feels more balanced, authentic, and satisfying.

You don’t have to navigate this alone—I’m here to help you find your way forward.

What you can expect from me

Here is what you can expect during our first session:

We’ll start with the "business" side of therapy to ensure you feel informed and secure. We will briefly review:

  • Informed Consent: Ensuring you understand your rights and how therapy works.
  • Confidentiality: Discussing mandated reporting and the boundaries of our private space.
  • Logistics: Confirming scheduling and answering any initial questions you might have.

Sharing Your Story at Your Pace

Our first session is, quite simply, a conversation. We will explore what brings you to therapy today and begin gently identifying what you want—not just from our sessions, but from your life.

Defining Your "Better"

Together, we’ll talk about your goals and hopes. We will begin to paint a picture of what feeling "better" looks like for you, ensuring that our work moving forward is aligned with your personal vision of growth.

Identifying Your Strengths

Therapy isn’t just about the challenges you’re navigating; it’s about recognizing the resilience and courage you already carry. I’ll be listening closely to understand your:

  • Unique interests and passions.
  • Current support systems.
  • Strengths and coping skills that have helped you get this far.

Building a Genuine Connection

Most importantly, this hour is about safety. You can expect a space free of judgment where you are met with warmth and authenticity.
