Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Masters of Social Work degree at California State University of Long Beach. My 10+ years experience is working with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of community settings; specifically individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, and trauma and those dealing with issues related to culture, transitions, grief and loss, relationships, LGBTQ+, foster care, adoption, and medical diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

My experiences have provided me with insight into the importance of therapy and personal growth to help one be their best self. I hope to help you navigate through life transitions and difficulties that you may be facing, while providing a safe space to explore behaviors and emotions, develop insight, and learn and practice healthy coping tools. I draw from different modalities based on your individual needs and use a holistic approach that takes culture and relationships into consideration.

What you can expect from me

During our sessions you can expect an environment of genuineness, acceptance and empathy to help you grow. As your therapist, I hope to be able to hold space through the difficult times and celebrate the accomplishments as well.
