Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Joanna. For more than 29 years, I’ve been helping people move through some of life’s most difficult challenges, and for the past 21+ years, I’ve done so as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. My primary focus is supporting adults and adolescents who are navigating depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. I know how sadness, frustration, and stress can take hold and affect every part of daily life, and I am committed to helping you find real and lasting relief.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, you can expect me to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and work side by side with you to build a treatment plan that makes sense for your goals and your life. Patients often tell me they appreciate my genuineness, my patience, and the thoroughness I bring to their care. Whether through therapy, medication management, or a combination of both, my approach is collaborative and tailored to what will best support you.

What you can expect from me

I am deeply passionate about mental health because I’ve seen firsthand how it touches every corner of a person’s life. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and supported without judgment, and I consider it an honor when someone trusts me to walk alongside them in such a vulnerable time. I treat mental health with the same importance as physical health, because both are essential to living a full and balanced life.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me traveling, taking photos, reading, or spending time outdoors. These are the things that ground me and bring me joy—and I encourage my clients to discover the practices that do the same for them.

If you’re looking for someone who will meet you with patience, thorough care, and a thoughtful plan for moving forward, I would be glad to connect with you.
