Great to meet you!

I am a practicing creative art therapist, artist and art educator who holds an MPS in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, as well as an ATR (Registered Art Therapist) by the Art Therapy Credentials Board, Inc. and LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) in Washington state with pending LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Pennsylvania.

I am also a life-long learner who will always be honing her skills because I want to be someone who can serve every population I am working with in the best way that I can.

My approach to therapy

Using both creative arts therapy and talk therapy, I offer an empathic listening ear and safe space for the adult, individual client to explore all the parts of Self and find meaningful expression to articulate and increase self-awareness regarding past, present and future personal situations.

This can include art directives to explore with materials, as well as mind, body and environmental experientials.

I refer to CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), Jungian Psychology (i.e. dream and symbol interpretation) and more as resources for evidence-based practices.

What you can expect from me

My practice is grounded in building trust and good rapport, so we will be starting by simply getting to know one another and your purpose for pursuing therapy. We will identify goals as well as utilize assessments that create a foundation for our work together.
