Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in nursing. My path into mental health grew from seeing how often mental well-being is connected to the many other parts of our lives—and how important it is to have a space where you can talk openly without feeling judged or reduced to a diagnosis.

I specialize in working with teens 16+ and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, life transitions, and the pressure to have everything figured out. As a Filipina American, I also understand that culture, family expectations, and identity can shape how we experience and talk about mental health. You don’t have to leave those parts of yourself at the door.

While this perspective informs how I listen and connect, I welcome clients of all cultural backgrounds and believe every person's story deserves curiosity, respect, and individualized care.

My approach to therapy

I approach care with compassion and curiosity, because I believe feeling seen, heard, and understood is an important first step toward healing. My approach is collaborative, balanced, and holistic. Medication can be a valuable tool for mental wellness, but it is not always the whole solution.

My communication style is warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental. I take time to understand your history, culture, relationships, lifestyle, and what matters most to you, because these all play an important role in your mental health. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that feels thoughtful, practical, and tailored to you.

Care may include lifestyle and wellness strategies, supportive therapy, and the thoughtful, conservative use of medication when it's the right tool—never more than you need.

What you can expect from me

If you're looking for a provider who values connection, cultural humility, and whole-person mental health care, I'd be honored to meet you. Schedule a free phone consultation to see if we're a good fit. From there, we can schedule your initial evaluation, which is a longer session where we'll discuss your history, what's been challenging, your mental wellness goals, and create a treatment plan together.

Please email [email protected] for more appointment availability options.
