Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. After completing my graduate training at The State University of New York College at Brockport in 2003, I began my career in the mental health field and have continued to provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for more than two decades.

Throughout my career, I have gained diverse clinical experience in private practice, emergency room settings, and outpatient behavioral health clinics. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.

My areas of clinical focus include ADHD, behavioral concerns, anxiety, school-related issues, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma and abuse, depression, and relationship and family concerns. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I believe therapy should be individualized to each person's unique needs, strengths, and circumstances. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in navigating life's challenges.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading and spending quality time with my seven children. These experiences have further enriched my appreciation for the importance of family, resilience, connection, and the many different challenges individuals encounter throughout life.

My approach to therapy

I provide individual therapy for children and adults, as well as family therapy and couples counseling. My clinical approach incorporates evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with particular strengths in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances, creating a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes growth, healing, and lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

Let my decades of clinical experience support you on your journey toward greater emotional well-being and positive change. Together, we can identify healthier ways to manage difficult emotions, develop effective coping skills, and address behavioral patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms.

Through secure teletherapy, I provide a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable doing the work of healing—all from the privacy and convenience of your own home. My goal is to help you build the skills, confidence, and resilience you need to navigate life's challenges and move forward with greater hope and balance.
