Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jocelyn! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado, and I've spent most of my career helping people through their hardest moments. I work with teens, adults, and families, and I'm bilingual in English and Spanish. I have a master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. I'm especially passionate about supporting people dealing with big emotions, trauma, grief, and substance use.

My approach to therapy

I believe you can't make real progress until you feel heard, so I'll always start by listening without judgment. From there, I keep things practical, using tools from DBT, CBT, and solution-focused therapy to help you handle tough emotions and build habits that actually fit your life. I'm warm and collaborative, but I'll also be honest with you and help keep us moving toward your goals. No two people are the same, so we'll go at your pace.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a chance to get to know each other. I'll ask what brought you in and what you're hoping for, and you only need to share what you're comfortable with. You'll also have space to ask me anything about how therapy works. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of your goals and a plan for next steps, and I hope you'll leave feeling understood and a little lighter.
