I wanted to share my gratitude for reading my profile. My name is Jocelyn Chavez, LCSW. As a proud queer Hispanic therapist, my passion is to work with LGBTQAI+ and Hispanic individuals through tough life experiences. This life that we live is not easy so let’s work together to manage through them, I am ready to listen to you.

My approach to therapy

The first session can be intimidating but let me walk you through it. I want to make sure I get to know you and you get to know me. I’ll ask a few questions to get to know you and your situation. During our future sessions I will provide Motivational Interviewing, Trust Based Relational Intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and more.
