Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Bay Path university in 2016. I have experience in working with young adults and adults. I have been trained in varieties of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy and Bible based spiritual counseling and these are the modalities I use in individual sessions, group counseling and couples counseling. My training and work experience involved working with individuals who struggled with ADD, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, relationship/marital struggles and stress related issues. My work experience includes working with young adults and adults. I am currently working with the population ages 20 and older.

My approach to therapy

I find it completely rewarding to play a key role in assisting people through their personal struggles and difficulties. I enjoy researching, analyzing, and developing strategic and collaborative solutions for my clients. When meeting with clients, my philosophy is to remain nonjudgmental, listen closely with care, and respond in a thoughtful and in a methodical manner. I like to collaborate with my clients to create a treatment plan and set goals that are attainable for them. I believe the role of a counselor is absolutely vital in today’s society; creating an opportunity for people to work through their individual issues and finding agreeable resolutions which will ultimately improve their quality of life. My goal is to incorporate life skills through coaching techniques to help enhance people’s lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a counselor who listens, is warm and solution focused. My goal is to assist clients through compassion and kindness; to ignite a relationship that will help you accomplish your goals in therapy. I value humor, transparency and respect when working with clients.
