Great to meet you!
Hi! My name is Jocelyn, and I am here to support you in navigating life’s challenges with compassion, honesty, and practical guidance. While life is a gift, it can also bring moments of deep difficulty that affect how we think, feel, and function. I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to bring my experience, training, and objective perspective alongside you to help reduce distress, build insight, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my master’s degree from George Washington University and bring more than 20 years of experience working across diverse settings, including detention centers, community programs, and therapeutic environments such as equine-assisted settings. These experiences have shaped a flexible and grounded approach to care. I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and I consider myself a general practitioner with specialized interests in addiction recovery, trauma, mood disorders, and supporting individuals from biracial and multicultural backgrounds.
