Great to meet you!
I am grounded in a liberatory framework that recognizes our own inherent abilities for healing and growth, and how our connections to community impact our journey. My work involves an eclectic approach to psychotherapy, which is culturally affirming, trauma-informed, emotionally-focused, strength and mindfulness based. With radical acceptance and psychoeducational learning, I foster a safe and respectful environment for collaboration and discovery, guiding you towards your therapeutic goals.I am a first generation Filipina immigrant, raised on the land of the Anishinaabe people, aka Michigan. Currently residing on Coast Salish land, aka Seattle. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. After finishing a masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan, I worked as a medical social worker providing psychosocial support services and grief therapy for those with chronic illness and end of life hospice care. I commit to mutual aid efforts, community organizing and activism to build a world of collective care with a focus on Restorative and Transformative justice.
