Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jocelynn, a licensed clinician providing therapy to children, teens, and adults. I have experience working in school-based settings as well as through telehealth, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and life transitions.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the process feel approachable and supportive from the very beginning.

I have a strong background working with children and adolescents, including those experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, social difficulties, and family-related stress. I also work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of support navigating life changes.

My goal is to meet you where you are and help you feel more supported, understood, and confident as you move forward.

My approach to therapy

take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy, meeting each person where they are and tailoring treatment to their individual needs. I focus on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

In our work together, I help clients build insight into patterns that may be contributing to their challenges while also developing practical tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate difficult situations more effectively.

When working with children and teens, I incorporate age-appropriate strategies to support emotional expression, behavior, and social skills. I also collaborate with parents when appropriate to provide guidance and support outside of sessions.

My goal is to help clients feel more confident, capable, and equipped with skills they can use in their everyday lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and create a space where you feel comfortable and supported. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, experiences, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to. You’re welcome to move at your own pace.

Together, we’ll begin identifying areas of focus and discuss what working together may look like moving forward. I also aim to provide some initial support, insight, or tools that you can begin using right away.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and more at ease about the therapy process.
