Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and also have years of experience in School Counseling. I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate about providing a safe and supportive space for clients to work through their thoughts and emotions. I love working with adults, adolescents, and children. We will work together to build a relationship built on trust, empathy, and genuine connection. I have experience helping individuals with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, friendships, grief, and navigating life's challenges. I came to therapy through years as a school counselor, which means I understand what kids carry into the classroom and what parents worry about at home. My work in the schools has given me experience with ADHD, Autism, Neurodivergence, School issues, and peer relationships as well. If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out to me. I would love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client centered with a focus on providing a safe space for the client to feel supported while we collaborate together to navigate through issues and challenges. My approach adapts to who is in front of me. With younger clients, I use play based therapy and emotion focused techniques that meet kids where they are developmentally, so they can process what they are experiencing without having to put it all in words. With teens and adults, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to identify what is driving the difficulty and build practical skills to address it. I work at your pace but will keep us moving forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll ask questions to understand what has brought you in, what you are hoping to change, and what matters most right now. For children, I focus on getting to know them in a comfortable, low-pressure way. For teens and adults, we'll map out your background, current concerns, and goals so we have a clear direction from the start. If this sounds like a good fit- I'd love to connect.
