Great to meet you!

Throughout my years as a counselor, I've learned that not all wounds are physical. Some current experiences, family conflict, life struggles, or past trauma take time to heal and process. One of my passions is working with children/adolescents and parents. Individuals are more creative, social, and become more in tune with their ways of expressing their thoughts and feelings when they know that someone is there to support them.

My approach to therapy

I like to use a collaboration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. We will start where you are currently at, set realistic goals for you and take the first steps towards that goal together.

What you can expect from me

In order to reach your goals I will challenge you to do your homework in between sessions, bring back questions for us to discuss and offer practice materials that you can keep. If we need to utilize tools that have already helped you in the past in previous treatment settings, lets talk about those as well and build upon your knowledge.
