Before we begin, please note I specialize in medication management, I am not a therapist. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, beginning my career as an inpatient psychiatric RN before earning my master's degree. My background in acute mental health care shaped my ability to thoughtfully assess, diagnose, and manage complex psychiatric conditions.
My work is rooted in both clinical precision and respect for each person's unique story. I believe mental health care should feel safe, collaborative, and free of judgement, where people are seen as whole humans - not a labeled diagnosis. At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens when science, compassion and authenticity come together.
During the first appointment, you can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we review current concerns, mental health history, medical history, and treatment goals. I will ask thoughtful questions to understand the full picture, in addition to discussing potential diagnosis and medication options. We will focus on developing a safe, evidence-based treatment plan tailored to you. You will have time to ask questions, and I will explain recommendations clearly, so you feel informed and involved in decisions. My goal for you is to leave my office feeling heard, understood, and confident about next steps.
