Great to meet you!

I am a doctorate level therapist and supervisor (LPCC-S) with over 30 years behavioral health experience supporting children, adults, and the elderly. I specialize in guiding individuals through grief and loss, providing a compassionate space to process difficult life transitions. My extensive background working with traumatized children allows me to bring a uniquely insightful and gentle perspective to adults healing from trauma.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership built on trust, safety, and deep respect. Genuine connection is the most important part of the therapeutic process to me, and my style is naturally empathetic, validating, and goal-oriented. Within this supportive space, I blend traditional CBT with advanced, evidence-based trauma therapies like EMDR, TF-CBT, and CPT.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a gentle, collaborative space focused entirely on creating safety, comfort, and mutual trust. We will discuss what brings you to therapy and explore what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. There is no pressure to dive deep into trauma right away; my priority is ensuring you feel deeply heard and understood. By the end of the initial session, we will identify some treatment goals so you will leave with a sense of hope to begin your healing journey.
