Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), I bring over 20 years of experience in mental health and addiction counseling, trained at the University of Bridgeport and Merrimack College. I provide telehealth therapy to adults across Connecticut, specializing in maternal mental health — the unique emotional demands of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting — along with substance use and recovery, stress and burnout, family challenges, and women's issues. These struggles often overlap, and very few therapists hold credentials in both mental health and addiction work; I built my career on exactly that intersection. Whether you're overwhelmed by competing demands, questioning what's next, or simply ready to feel more like yourself again, we'll focus on what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

My philosophy is that therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself — exploring what's challenging you and discovering new ways to approach life's ups and downs. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to understand and shift the thought patterns feeding stress and overwhelm, Motivational Interviewing to support change without pressure — especially powerful in recovery work, where ambivalence is part of the process — and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to keep us oriented toward where you want to go. Together, we'll understand your patterns, build practical coping skills, and identify meaningful steps toward the changes you want to make.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to have all the answers to get started — you just need a place to begin. In our first session, we'll talk about what's bringing you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you'd like to be different. My goal is to help you feel heard, strengthen your confidence, and start building tools you can use in everyday life — not just in our sessions, but long after them.
