Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with children, adolescents, and adults. I understand that reaching out for psychiatric care can feel overwhelming—especially when you’ve been struggling for a while, have tried treatments that haven’t worked, or are trying to find the right help for your child.

I work with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, autism/neurodivergence, sleep difficulties, and emotional or behavioral dysregulation. My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being honest about what is and isn’t working.

While I work with all ages across the lifespan, I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents and patterning with parents who are trying to understand complex behavioral, emotional, or attention concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach to psychiatric care is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I don’t believe medication management should feel like a quick prescription and a goodbye. I want to understand the bigger picture—your symptoms, history, daily functioning, relationships, environment, previous treatment experiences, and what you hope will be different.

When medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss the options together, including expected benefits, potential side effects, and alternatives, so you can make informed decisions about your care. With children and adolescents, I value partnering with parents and caregivers while also giving young people the opportunity to develop their own voice in treatment. I also believe strongly in collaboration with therapists, pediatricians, primary care providers, and other members of your treatment team when helpful

What you can expect from me

You can expect our visits to be thoughtful, straightforward, and collaborative. My goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms and a treatment plan that feels realistic and manageable.

Treatment is not one-size-fits-all, and we’ll continue to reassess what is helping, what isn’t, and what needs to change. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and telling me when something isn’t working. Whether I’m working directly with you or helping you navigate care for your child, my goal is to create a treatment relationship built on trust, communication, and shared decision-making.
