Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I'm a licensed professional counselor and chemical dependency counselor in Texas. Taking the first step to seek therapy can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on making that choice! With 9 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, I've developed expertise in trauma-informed care, anxiety and depression management, and addiction recovery. I bring a unique perspective through my combined mental health and chemical dependency credentials, allowing me to address both clinical needs while understanding how they often intersect.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. We'll work as partners in your therapeutic journey, with open communication and mutual respect guiding our work together. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. My approach integrates evidence-based methods like CBT and DBT with trauma-informed care and mindfulness practices. Rather than being directive, I help clients uncover their own insights and solutions through thoughtful questions and collaborative exploration.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you'll have the opportunity to share your story and what brings you to therapy. Together, we'll identify your goals and begin creating a roadmap for our work together. From there, each session builds on your progress as we develop practical strategies and insights. Clients can expect a supportive environment where they feel truly heard and understood. I provide relevant resources and gentle guidance while empowering you to lead your healing journey. My goal is to help you gain new perspectives, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical tools for managing life's challenges.
