Great to meet you!

My name is Jodie, I have been in the field of Mental health for over 18 years, I have a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in forensics and Substance Use therapy. I love the offender population and strive to reduce recidivism and lessen the traumatic responses that lead to ineffective lifestyles. I have experience in a multitude of therapies such as EFT, CBT, DBT, experiential, existentialism, solution focused and polyvagal to name a few. I have trained in and have knowledge of all mental health disorders and have a true belief that all people can heal.

We all have a story, and we all have the ability to rewrite it. Thats where true healing begins

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy sessions with an open mind and curious nature. I feel everything in life in a transition and therefore has a story. Each story can be changed with work support and the openness to be empowered.

What you can expect from me

I hope that each client can take away from each session the feeling of hope. I strive to empower and assist each individual in strengthening their own bond with self, which will allow personal strength, identity and the power to live a life worth living
