Great to meet you!

I bring 7 years experience as a board certified music therapist & 5 years as a licensed creative arts therapist working with individuals experiencing a variety of challenges. I’ve learned from clients while facilitating group therapy at distinguished hospital & rehab. settings. I’m passionate about helping you use music and other creative modalities for expression. We can bring issues to the forefront, examine thought patterns, unconscious & conscious processes to bring us closer to ourselves.

My approach to therapy

I am open to how you would like to use music and verbal therapy for healing; often one can inform the other. When words are difficult, music can act as a safe conduit for expression and we can use words to bring attention to what happened in the creative process. Interventions in music therapy are varied which may include songwriting, listening, vocalizing, playing instruments along with meditation and mind-fullness practices utilizing live and recorded music as a soundscape.

What you can expect from me

A reconnection to your creative self. A different angle to approach transitions; process joys and life struggles. A positive coping tool for expression. An awareness of your body in music that typically brings enhanced presence. Time for yourself! Time to play and connect with your inner child. A space for you.
