Great to meet you!

I've spent 12 years working where mental health care meets real hardship — hospital psych units, crisis stabilization centers, methadone clinics, and community outreach in Western Massachusetts. I've sat with people at their lowest and watched them rebuild. I don't bring a rehearsed script to our sessions. I bring genuine curiosity about your story, a deep respect for what it takes to ask for help, and practical tools that actually fit your life.I work with adults and seniors dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety, grief, substance use, and the kind of stress that accumulates when life just doesn't slow down. I accept Aetna, Cigna, and Carelon Behavioral Health, and I offer telehealth appointments throughout Massachusetts so geography doesn't have to be one more obstacle.

My approach to therapy

I use a blend of trauma-focused CBT, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, Seeking Safety, and cognitive processing therapy — not because every approach works for everyone, but because I've found that the right tool depends entirely on where you are right now. Some sessions we map out concrete coping strategies. Others, we slow down and give your story the space it deserves to be heard and rewritten on your terms. My style is direct and warm. I won't sugarcoat things, but I will meet you exactly where you are. I believe that insight without action is just interesting — so we'll always be working toward something real.

What you can expect from me

Expect a real conversation — not a checklist. In our first session, I want to understand what brought you here, what you've already tried, and what you actually want your life to look like. We'll identify 2–3 concrete goals together and map out a realistic path to get there. You won't leave the first session with homework you don't understand or a vague plan to "work on your anxiety." You'll leave with clarity about the next step — and confidence that you've found someone who takes your situation seriously. Telehealth appointments are available after standard work hours and weekends.
