Great to meet you!

I specialize in treating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image distress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I adhere to a body positive, body acceptance orientation which includes health at every size and intuitive eating. Prior to private practice, I worked in residential, IOP and PHP settings for eating disorder and addiction treatment which has prepared me to support you as your outpatient therapist. I understand where you've been and I'm honored to support you in this next step of your recovery.

My approach to therapy

I intend to create a safe, caring, and supportive environment for you to express what needs to be heard and process what needs to be felt so you can find trust in your abilities to heal and reconnect with your life. I value your authenticity and will guide you to connect with the inner wisdom you possess. My theoretical training is client centered which means I will meet you where you are and work to understand you with acceptance and compassion. Many of my clients have shared they appreciate the non-judgmental and understanding space I create for them.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, I will work to get to know you and understand your life experiences that are bringing you to seek therapy. You will also have time to ask any questions you may have. This process will help us build a plan that is flexible and helps direct the course of your treatment. I know it can be stressful to consider starting therapy, so please know we can go at the pace that feels right to you.
