Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Jodyan Gaynor a Licensed Professional Counselor. Having worked for 13 years in the field working in both community mental health and private practice, I have worked with a wide range of issues. This includes those experiencing severe mental distress to those who are seeking support as they navigate stress in their life. My ultimate goal for clients no matter what their struggle is to create a safe, authentic space for healing and self discovery on your journey to your best self.

My approach to therapy

In practice, I take a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, customizing our interactions based on your needs. It is important to me that you see our work as effective in the issues relevant to improving your current situation. I will then work to apply the therapeutic approaches that fit both your situation and your style.

What you can expect from me

Your sessions will most times be driven by goals that we have agreed upon together. However, given the unpredictable nature of life, I like to remain flexible to responding to immediate needs that may arise. In sessions you can expect to feel heard, safe and accepted in your vulnerable spaces. You can also expect to feel challenged and supported. There will be many opportunities for you to practice your developing skills and insights so that you may become the master of them in your own life.
