Great to meet you!

As a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with years of experience treating clients from diverse backgrounds across multiple settings—including inpatient units, intensive outpatient programs, homeless shelters, and private practice—I have developed a deep appreciation for the uniqueness and complexity of the human experience. I strive to meet clients where they are in the present moment and work collaboratively with them to identify meaningful goals and create a path toward lasting improvement and fulfillment.

My approach to therapy

I offer comprehensive, individualized care in a warm, interactive, and supportive environment. My approach centers on treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals.

I use a combination of evidence-based and integrative modalities, including psychotropic medication management, integrative psychotherapy, and complementary approaches when appropriate. I also provide educational resources and therapeutic homework to help reinforce insight, support skill-building, and accelerate progress between sessions.

***Follow-up sessions are 20-50 minutes in length and are scheduled up to twice monthly depending on each client's clinical needs, treatment goals, and level of support required.

What you can expect from me

With an extensive background in the biological and social sciences, I strive to develop a comprehensive understanding of each client by considering the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence their overall well-being, while also fostering a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and compassion. Treatment plans are thoughtfully individualized to reflect each client's unique needs, goals, and circumstances, utilizing evidence-based strategies to support meaningful recovery, personal growth, and long-term healing.

***Intake sessions are 60 minutes in length and consist of a thorough biopsychosocial evaluation, including an in-depth review of psychiatric symptoms, medical history, social and developmental factors, prior treatment experiences, lifestyle considerations, and individualized treatment goals.
