Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when clients feel understood, supported, and comfortable being themselves. My approach is person-centered, balancing validation with thoughtful challenge to encourage growth and self-awareness. I often incorporate humor to build connection and reduce shame. Over 4 years of practice, I have helped clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is primarily person-centered, focusing on creating a supportive, collaborative relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe growth occurs through a balance of validation and challenge—first understanding a client's experience, then helping them examine patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck. I incorporate psychoeducation to increase self-understanding and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical strategies for change. My goal is to help clients build insight, resilience, and lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a conversation focused on getting to know one another and building a strong therapeutic relationship. I want to understand your story, what brings you to therapy, and the challenges and strengths that have shaped your experiences. We'll also begin identifying practical areas where meaningful progress can happen quickly—the "low-hanging fruit" that can provide relief, build momentum, and help create a foundation for deeper work moving forward.
