Great to meet you!

Since seeing how the community health system hasn't worked for many in the Southwest, I want therapy to be accessible for my clients. So, I can come to you or my office or virtually! I am 1 of only a couple Spanish-speaking therapist in our region, so I work a lot with the immigrant community. Although I am not Latine, I have worked alongside the Latine community for over 10 years and it is a cultural home for me. Whether I am speaking English or Spanish, my personality still comes through. I also work in homelessness, so I'm comfortable with issues like housing insecurity, substance use, psychosis, suicidality & case management.

My approach to therapy

This is all about feeling better. We call this "state management." We try to manage how we feel– in our bodies, emotionally, spiritually. However when we've faced traumas, our bodies can get stuck in a state of always feeling activated, anxious, or disconnected. Calming somatic activities help our system regulate so that we can can feel more like ourselves.

What you can expect from me

We all deserve to feel peace. And I'm glad you are inviting this in. I'm here to complement any other healing modalities you practice, and whether sleep is an issue, want to heal lasting trauma, deepen your spiritual path, are practicing non-monogamy, want to address substance use, or improve mood (and beyond!), we help you feel more like your fullest self.
